Robin Tam has 15 years of experience advancing strategic alliances and innovation within the health care delivery and managed care space. She has led business development, product development, marketing, account management and network management nationally to usher greenfield expansions, launch new products and align health care stakeholders in win-win value-based/risk-based partnerships.
Tam joined ConcertoHealth in 2015 after eight years of government programs business development and implementation experience at Cigna-HealthSpring, formerly Bravo Health of Baltimore. She expanded the national Medicare Advantage footprint into 200+ counties and launched new products capitalizing upon continuous health care reform. She pursued strategic partnerships with dominant integrated delivery health systems encompassing commercial, Medicare, Medicaid and health insurance exchange lines of business. In her policy and government relations role, she secured new Medicaid and Medicare-Medicaid Financial Alignment Demonstration contracts in Texas and Illinois, accompanied by procurement efforts in additional states.
Prior to Cigna-HealthSpring, Tam led both strategic and operational hospital consulting engagements at The Advisory Board Company in Washington, D.C. There, she helped launched the Philanthropy Leadership Council research program to improve hospital foundation performance.
Tam earned her Bachelor of Science in economics from The Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania, where she influenced consumer banking strategy as a board member at the University of Pennsylvania Student Federal Credit Union. She developed investment banking experience at ARC Associates in London and Morgan Keegan in Raleigh, North Carolina.
