Since the sale of First Health in 2005, Wristen has been a private investor and involved in eleemosynary activities.
Wristen has been a Director of Concerto and its predecessor, Fidelis SeniorCare since 2009.
In 2007, Wristen participated in the private equity led purchase with CIC Partners of OmniSYS, Inc. Wristen served as chairman, director and an advisor to the company. OmniSYS was a healthcare services company enabling retail and mail order pharmacies and managed care companies to comply with the billing, regulatory and disease management requirements of Medicare, Medicaid and commercial healthcare payors. OmniSYS specialized in all of the unique requirements of pharmaceuticals typically covered under part B of Medicare. In 2013, OmniSYS was sold to Moelis Capital Partners.
Wristen was CEO of First Health Group (NASDAQ: FHCC) until it’s 2005 sale to Coventry Health Care. He joined First Health’s predecessor company, HealthCare COMPARE, in 1990 as Director of Strategic Planning.
